Our Living Room!

EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I sit down to write this blog, I never know what to say when I start. So I'll just say ummmmm here's our living room! :)

We live in a TINY little place. Not saying I'm not thankful for it, but yeah. It's tiny. 

I just finally finished these pillows last night. 

These curtains were the cheapest I have ever made or bought! They are dropcloths from Home Depot. I got a package of 2 of them. I just cut them in half, hemmed the insides and bottoms and there you go. $12 Seriously, $12 for all 4 panels.

Love this picture of us from Easter. It's an engineer print from Staples. $7, yep. I want to back it up with some plywood or foam board. Just haven't got to it yet.

This dresser was given to us. It used to be in our master bedroom and was black. Big change for this one. It now holds all the boys toys. :)

The layout of the room is pretty awkward. There's a lot of  doors/openings so it's very hard to rearrange furniture. 

This white cabinet houses all of my scrapbooking/project life/sewing/crafty stuff.

Also got it for free. I painted it white.

This wall leads into the bedrooms and bathroom.

Then lastly is the wall with the fireplace and TV. Ahhhh yes. The dreaded exposed cords from the TV. We have looked everywhere for a solution for those ugly things but none that don't involve some kind of a hole in the wall. Oh well.

So there you go! 

Our living room. It's definitely not "done" but it's what we have so far. :)

Trust me. It doesn't look like this all the time. (Yes I hear you giggling, mom!) ;)
