I have actually been pretty up-to-date with my Project Life. I just haven't had a chance to post pics since my boys have been so busy getting big and stuff. :/ Check out Chase's 6 year shoot HERE and Reed's 18 month shoot HERE
I love looking back at the begin of my album to see how my style has changed in just this short of a time.
Here is week 27:
(left side)
Another t-ball game, bath night and then Kindergarten physical day.
(right side)
Chase's birthday!
We spent the morning playing in the sprinkler and then birthday dinner at Applebee's.
We had fun stuff to do all weekend so it felt like we were celebrating everyday!
Week 28:
(Left side)
We headed out to the Lincoln Children's Zoo for a company picnic.
I added the zoo map to an 8X10 piece of black cardstock and used an 8X10 insert to add that between the pages.
(Right side)
Just added a little banner to a piece of graph paper to write my journaling on.
LOVE this color combo. (Teal and Yellow) I just added a yellow strip of paper to the white space of the picture of the penguin and then put a circle sticker on to tie it together.
Chase's birthday party:

I just used his invite that I made as the title for the page.
I made a half page again to add some more pics and his Thank You card on the bottom right.
Week 29:
(Left side)
Last t-ball game.
This was the first time I used one of my Instagram pics on my PL. (Top photo)
It's so easy to print off using Walgreens' photo app. They print it as a 4X4 so it fits right in the 4X6 pocket with room for decorating.

My cousin's baby show was this week.
So much fun. Can't wait for the little guy to come. :)
Alrighty on to the boys' photo shoots.
I decided to do a spread for each boy.
Chase's spread:

I asked Chase these questions and except for a couple, these were his exact answers. :)
OK. I try to give Chase a blank card once in a while to have him draw whatever he wants to add to my pages. So this time I gave him a card and asked him to draw a picture of himself.
He came running in to ask me which way a little "b" faces. I showed him and he ran out. Then he was so excited to come show me this drawing. He told me it was him and Daddy playing T-ball with the tee and grass under it. It says T-ball Chase. Not going to lie I was kind of disappointed that he drew on the wrong side, but he showed me that on the other side he messed up and wanted to draw it again. :)

I almost always print off way too many photos to fit in the pockets or I have too many of the wrong orientation to fit, and this was no exception. So for one of the pics I cut it down small and used it on a 4X6 card to make a title card.
P.S I cut the measuring paper at a certain part for a reason. The teal colored one I cut by the 18 because Chase's birthday is the 18th. Then the brown one I cut next to a 6 because, you guessed it, he turned 6 this year.
Reed's spread:

I used this journaling card to jot down some factoids about Reed right now.
Yes, I know. I spelled balloons wrong. Ugh!
(right side)
Last but not least is a spread I did for week 30:
We went as a family to the pool in our neighborhood.
I VERY HIGHLY recommend getting a waterproof camera for pool days. I got ours at Walmart. You can find it HERE Now for some reason the website says it's $5.95. In store we paid around $10 for it. Either way, it's definitely worth it!
So fun!
So there you go. Project Life: up-to-date
I actually have 2 areas in the living room that are 100% DONE. Thinking I might have to do a sneak peek sometime this week.....stay tuned. :)
