Project Life weeks 37-39

The sun has made it's appearance! :)

So without further ado here is weeks 37, 38 & 39:

Week 37: Left side

Just a single layout this week with an impromptu playdate with a cousin and a grocery store trip. I also got a chance to to hold my friends brand new baby girl. :)

I used a little jute and a super old cardstock sticker to decorate the journaling card. The little pink tag is from the outfit that I bought for her.

Week 37: Right side

Every once in a while I just can't get a page to come together. This was one of those. I got pretty frustrated for some reason with the colors and cards that just didn't seem to go together. Not sure what the deal is.

Week 38:

This side is pretty much just about the boys hanging out and playing. I didn't take a lot of pictures this week so this is what I came up with.

I love the look of green and blue together (good thing I have boys :) ) I just handwrote journaling on the right side and added a strip of paper underneath the date. Then the left side I used strips of paper to write and cut out an arrow to point to the picture the journaling is about.

Week 39: Left side

This week we had a fundraiser Walk-A-Thon for Chase's school so I used the sign that Chase wore to use as a title of sorts. Then the 3X4 cards are pics of Reed hanging out at home. The "enjoy the ride" print I got from Persnickety Prints HERE and then I added a picture of our calendar and some fort making. :)

Week 39: right side

This side was about a fun trip to the park we haven't been to for a while.  Nothing too fancy.

I like to make my photos the main focus of my layouts so you've probably noticed I don't like to do a lot of embellishing. (Plus I'm just not that good at it anyways. :) )

So there you go! Until next time.....

  1. Wonderful layouts. I love the idea of using the clothing tag in the journal card. Also the Happiness is...is such a wonderful thing to include for the week. Love the idea.
