I feel like I haven't posted in forever! It's been a good month and a half since I last posted a Project Life post. That's not to say I'm not caught up, I totally am! Which is awesome and I'm super surprised how much I've loved doing this. (I just need to stay on top of taking pictures and posting!)
Week 40 left side:
I had a lot of vertical pics this week, which is unusual. So I decided to just use one 4x6 journaling card to do all of the journaling. This week Chase had Monday off from school and then Tuesday I decided to get brave and let almost-2 year old Reed paint for the first time. :) Also Runza (a favorite restaurant) was having a fundraiser for school libraries and they gave out stickers to the kids.
Right side:
That Saturday Ben suprised Chase and I with tickets to the Husker game!
I tucked the tickets behind a picture.
I also made a flip book to put more pictures of the game to tuck in one pocket.
Week 41 left side:
My husband is a volunteer firefighter, and his department had an open house (that they do every year) so that was the main focus of this side. I also snuck in a pic of our cute boys that Sunday morning, ready for church.
I also added an instagram pic of a car in our fridge. This was the start of many pics of toys in weird places. :)
Right side:
This side was kind of all over the place but it actually turned out good. Love when that happens.
Ben surprised me with tickets to a concert and although they were pretty bad seats we still had fun.
I tucked the tickets behind a picture again.
We also had our first parent/teacher conference that night. I was so happy to see how well Chase has been doing! I scanned in his report sheet and shrunk it down to size to add to a pocket.
Chase had gotten sick that week so I added a small picture of him hanging out on the couch.
Week 42 left side:
The main focus of this week was our trip to a pumpkin patch, so I decided on using a whole spread just using those pictures.
Since I had so many pictures I didn't use any filler cards on this side. What I did was I grabbed a collection of fall themed papers and embellishments and tried to just use those.
I cut some pieces of papers and notched them to look like banners.
Also since I had so many pics, I added an extra page protector cut down.
Right side:
This was the only side I needed a filler card so I just cut a 3x4 piece of paper from the collection I had out. The "October" picture I found on Pinterest HERE
I also only used these light blue letter stickers from Making Memories.
So there's that! Stay tuned, I'm working on my Christmas decorations :)
Love the idea of scanning the report card down & putting it in the album. Also love that "don't forget" journaling card!
