I bet that title got your attention. ;)
I have been hearing about Project Life for so many years now and just never thought that it would be something I would want to do. I am a scrapper. I love to create things using my hands. Which would be the number 1 reason I have never been excited about digital scrapbooking.
Fast forward a couple years, a 1 year old and a complete shake up in our living situation, I have made MAYBE 5-10 pages in the last year. It makes me very sad that I have all these wonderful pictures of our life that are stuck in boxes or worse yet, still as a JPEG on my external hard drive.
SO I have decided to do something about it.
I ordered Project Life.
I am anxiously awaiting the UPS man to bring me my package. :) I genuinely hope that this is what I need right now. At the very least it is putting all those pictures in a safe, semi-decorated album that my family can look through and enjoy.
I'm hoping that after Chase heads to Kindergarten this fall, and we're in a more permanent living situation that my scrapbooking will start back up again. Until then, this IS my scrapbooking and I'm super excited to share it with you!
**I didn't order everything there is to order. That seemed kind of wasteful to me. As of right now my process is to add pictures to a separately bought 3-ring album from Michael's. (Which is the album that I use with my regular scrapbooks.)
I ordered just the page protectors from Project Life. Then the journaling cards and titles I will make myself using patterned paper, little embellishments, and alphabet stickers. I have also been perusing Pinterest for some great ideas to get started.
I think a 3x4 journaling or title card is so much more doable than a 12x12 scrapbook page, at least for right now. :)
If you're interested in starting Project Life for yourself please head over to Becky Higgins website for so much more information about it than I could ever write about.
Stay tuned!
