Alright, hold on to your seats there's going to be a lot of pictures in this post! :)
If you remember back I did a post HERE about why I quit scrapbooking and started Project Life.
While I was waiting for my page protectors to come in the mail, I gathered together pieces that I wanted to use, without going crazy. This is supposed to be a less stressful project for me so I tried really hard to keep it simple.
Here's the supplies I decided to use:
Almost everything I got was on clearance. I'm going to try and limit myself to buying only holiday themed stuff from now on. I got letter stickers and some different labels to use.
I got these 6x6 paper pads from Echo Park and My Mind's Eye that I can cut down to 4x6. Since I'm a boy mom, I decided to stay with a blue/green color scheme.
I also got this 12x12 paper pad from Colorbok that was really easy to cut down to 4x6 cards.

I decided to start with pictures from my youngest son's 1 year photo shoot, since I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them.

I've decided with birthday spreads I'm going to use the 8x10 inserts that I got. So that I can get more pictures in.
For one of the fillers I printed off a copy of one of my favorite quotes I found on Pinterest:
Here is one of the journaling cards I made using a K&Company smashbook sheet and leftover scraps:
Then I cut one of the 4x6 cards in half to make a 3x4 filler card. I tried to use only scraps from the title card and other fillers:
And here's the title card. I used a cut down sheet from one of the 6x6 pads and then added some letter stickers from Recollections to leftover scraps.
There we have it! My first Project Life spread. :) It seriously took me less than 15 minutes to put together and I'm really happy with it.
