I am caught up! I am COMPLETELY caught up! So happy, happy, happy :)
Here we go!
Week 22:
The left side of the layout was all about Chase's first t-ball practice, thus the start of t-ball.
(bad sun glare) I love that now that I have all my scrapbooking supplies again, I have been doing more "scrappy" title and journaling cards. I can use up a lot of "older" stuff that I probably wouldn't use in a full scrapbook layout.
Right side:
How cute are those clear bubble stickers that I used for raindrops? :)
Week 23:
Kind of a basic spread this week. I had a TON of pictures of Chase's first game and I couldn't bear to not use most of them on the layout. :)
Since I used so many pictures I just put a handful of labels to add quick journaling to the pictures.
Right side:
Another trip to the lake. This time I forgot my camera, which is kind of a big deal for me. And wouldn't you know it we were just sitting in the sand having some fun and a family of ducks decided to join us. At least I had my phone camera right? Ugh!
On to week 24:
Father's Day!
I printed off some ready made journaling cards (the red and orange ones) and then added my own stickers to one of them to dress up a bit.
For the right side, I didn't have very many pictures so I once again cut a page protector in half next to the stitching.
Just some pics of the boys blowing bubbles and painting and then I made my own title card very quickly and easily.
Week 25:
Left side is the back of the half cut protector.
(bad sun glare again ugh)
My dad and I have birthdays 2 days apart so we always celebrate them together. So this is a layout about our party and of course I got some shots of my nephew, Keegan. :)
I made this journaling card using some old cupcake stickers from EK Success
Week 26:
4th of July!
TONS of pictures (of course!) so I made a double page spread just for that night.
Left side:
:) You have to see the bottom left picture to really appreciate it:
(makes me laugh everytime)
I printed out a couple journaling cards to use on this one. (The red chevron on this side) and I added paper to put my journaling on and the "Celebrate America" tag I had from a piece of clothing from YEARS ago. (Scrappers don't through anything out, right?) The title I just used up leftover papers I had and then added a label from Jenni Bowlin Studio to add the week number.
Right side:
(Sorry I didn't realize how bad the sun glares were in some of these pictures and didn't have time to reshoot them all)
The middle journaling card is a Smash sheet from K&Company stapled to the yellow paper used in the title card. Then the other card is one I printed out and I just added a couple stickers on top of it.
Yep. That would be the same son from the picture above, that is completely sleeping through all of the big fireworks. :)
So there we go! I hope that wasn't too long or boring but hey, I'm caught up and I know it.... :)
Until next time...(Hopefully I will be posting about our kitchen here VERY soon.) Stay tuned!
