When it came time to pick out colors for the boys' room, we decided to let Chase pick. His favorite color is green so that's what we went with. Disclaimer: during the day with natural light, I love the color. At night with iridescent - not so much. Anyways, the color is Behr's Asparagus (#410D-4)
So here's some sneak peaks until I can get the last 2 project done for their room. :)
One of Chase's favorite things to do is read books. Which I LOVE. He just started actually READING this summer. Exciting times for him! So this is his "book nook" It's in the corner of the room and we somehow managed to make it "Reed-proof" (More on that in a later post :) ) The letters are from Hobby Lobby. The "R" I painted and then the "E" and "A" I glued scrapbook paper to. The "D" is how I bought them.
Here's a kind of cool way to hang artwork and/or pictures. I bought a handful of clipboards from the Dollar Tree and just put some pictures of the boys and Chase's artwork under the clips. Voila! Very easy to change out.
